Posting a role

The standard format, and why it's built that way.

Every role uses the same standard format as candidate profiles, so matching compares like with like.

  • Level is set from who the role reports into, so candidates are compared at the same level, whatever their titles.
  • Requirements: add at least three, such as years of experience, industry background and key skills. You can tune how much each one counts when you review candidates.
  • Experience is shown in a wide band around your target and never used to cut anyone off.
  • Must-haves are for genuine non-negotiables only, such as Australian work rights or being based in the role’s location.

Agencies record the end client privately. It’s never shown to candidates, but it means candidates who block their employer are protected on your ads too.

Roles run for 30 days. You can extend, close or reopen them.
